About The Role

The Staff Accountant is responsible for creating accurate and timely financial records, processing accounts payable and receivable, and processing payroll for Bohemian Foundation and all related Foundation entities. The role will administer grant processing and will provide the Grants Manager with timely support and reporting. This is a great opportunity for someone to learn the field of accounting!

Qualifications And Relevant Experience

Proven skills or an aptitude to learn the field of accounting and advance one’s skillset in the body of knowledge of accounting.
Outstanding written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Demonstrated ethical conduct and discretion.

Desired Qualifications

Associate or bachelor’s degree in accounting, preferred.
Aptitude for accounting systems.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office with advanced Excel skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Cloud-based accounting software experience or aptitude for accounting system

Procedure For Consideration

Position is based in Fort Collins, Colorado. The minimum starting salary for this position is $58,000. All regular, full-time employees are eligible for medical, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, wellness benefits, retirement savings and company match. Additional benefits include sixteen paid holidays, accrued flexible time off, new parent leave, staff education and tuition-based education reimbursement. This is not a remote work opportunity, although Bohemian Foundation currently uses a hybrid work model.
