We are looking for an Accounts Payable Clerk with strong communication skills, an ability to learn quickly, and a friendly personality.

Job Description

The Accounts Payable Clerk will be responsible for processing invoices, reconciling accounts, paying vendors, and supporting the ABEL team as needed.

Duties and Responsibilities

Receive, process, verify, and reconcile invoices
Route invoices to the correct managers for approval
Schedule and prepare checks
Assist with payment discrepancies and lost checks
Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements
Enter non-job related purchase orders
Enter billings into Sage for several accounts
Order office and cleaning supplies
Assist the Accounting Department as needed

Key Skill Requirements

Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent
Construction accounting experience is a plus
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask with a strong attention to detail
Professional phone presence
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
Skill in operating copier and calculator
